QMX Support Services INC. is located in Maryland (US). It provides exceptional and compete IT Service Management Solutions. Due to the rapid pace of technological advancement over the years, QMX Support Services INC.'s outdated web site, the company turned to SDIT for a qualified IT solution that would provide its customers with convenient and high quality services.
Technology
We have completely re-designed the commercial web site for our client by using ASP. As a major part of the Microsoft's .NET Framework, ASP.NET is an entirely new technology to script in server-side. It possesses the following features that have made it an invaluable tool by software developers and why so many of SDIT's past and current projects have adopted this technology.
- ASP.NET runs inside IIS, the Microsoft's Internet server and it is a free component within the Windows servers, Windows 2000 and XP Professional.
- It includes necessary services to build enterprise-class Web applications with a minimal amount of coding.
- ASP.NET provides an advanced security infrastructure.
- It enables the user to monitor performance of the application and supports debugging in cross-language and cross-computer.
- ASP.NET support for visual design tools such as Visual Studio.
Solution
First, SDIT collected and analyzed information during the discovery phase of the project in order to help the designers focus on the clients' needs and their target audience. Analysis concluded after the SDIT team had consolidated ideas and formed suggestions that were worthy of being discussed further. Designers then presented system sketches that were then analyzed to find the most promising designs. The designs were are then fleshed out and put into electronic format. We revisited the designs again as a group, using a persona set as a filter for the interface.
Only when the SDIT team was satisfied that the designs were viable did we present them to our clients for their review. We walk clients through the design process - explaining the logic and details of each design. Our purpose for these designs is to guarantee that our clients are 100% satisfied with the site design.
