Overview
In order to keep up with the rapid pace of development in business, the well known kitchenware company, Fotile Kitchenware Corporation (www.fotile.com), hired SDIT to design and implement an OA (Office Automation) management system. Office Automation utilizes customization and organization within a current computer's applications to make everyday office tasks easier, faster and standardized for the organization to run smoothly in a holistic setting.
Technology
The project was developed using .NET technology. As an entirely new technology to script in server-side, ASP.NET is a major part of Microsoft's .NET Framework. It possesses many up to date and useful features that explain its increased rate of acceptance and usage in recent years. These benefits are why many of SDIT's projects have adopted this technology to help fulfill customer's requirements.
Solution
When approached about an office automation project, our first response is to evaluate the business process and the benefits that might come with automation. We evaluate the frequency of repetition, the importance of process for the client, and the necessity for increased labor during the project. Within the solution is an integration of office information functions, including word processing, data processing, graphics, desktop publishing and e-mail. There are various criteria examined before our final validation of the project is made.
The software professionals at SDIT, with a strong foundation in .NET technology, provide each client with a tailored solution that meet their exacting needs. We craft these solutions using a suitable software development cycle that work well with the size and complexity requirements for the project. At SDIT, we believe that communication key to ensuring the success of any project.
