Overview
The Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based application allows third-party members to work on SDIT's platform. SDIT is quickly progressing with the designing of a long term project that can be defined as a SOA-based platform to solve our client's E-business issue. This project began in July 2007 and is still progressing wonderfully today.
Technology
As for technology, we believe that C#.NET provided an excellent and robust feature rich platform for this project. C# helps in creating proper standards while .NET provides type safety, automatic Garbage Collection which is very important in implementing good multi-tier applications.
The database management system we are using for this project is Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Our choice was based on the database system being portable, reliable, flexible, fast, and easy to manage. Due to its various features that enhance convenience for clients, SQL server has become widely used across industries for process management purposes.
Solution
SDIT has developed this application by combining SOA with E-business considerations. As the focus of this project is to develop a platform based on SOA, we chose C#.NET/ Visual Studio 2005 as the development tools. The project also utilized the operating system of Windows and .NET. Additionally, the database of the platform was Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
With a strong foundation in creating E-business projects, SDIT was able to quickly analyze the requirements from the client and give a proposal according to the pinpointed issue. In order to submit the project to our client as soon as possible, professionals at SDIT placed a great deal of effort and worked overtime for many days. In addition, with the quality of each project being of high importance for SDIT, the QA team at SDIT created a strict monitoring system for each step of the project.
One of SDIT's core advantages is that we can provide clients with very satisfied services, which is why it is not atypical to hear that SDIT has tested each application an extensive amount to make sure there are no problems with the platform's performance. Along with our own unique management methodology, the development process of this project strictly adhered to CMM3 guidelines and standards.
