Jointly sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Foreign Economic and Trade Committee and Shanghai Information Committee, the Shanghai Global IT Outsourcing Summit combine expert forums, project negotiations and item display in one transaction, with a professional and pragmatic attitude, in order to provide a platform for cooperation and exchanges for domestic and foreign software companies. This summit has been successfully held for five times, laid a good foundation to promote software exports and continued development of the software industry in Shanghai to the world, and has won media attention and praise. By the end of 2007, the number of defined software companies has been 1372, among them, 83 companies¡¯ operating income are exceeding 100 million Yuan, more than 98 enterprises has passed through CMM/CMMI3 assessment, and software practitioners has reached more than 20 million people.
2008 Shanghai Global IT Outsourcing Summit was held between Oct. 22-24 in Shanghai, on October 22nd, the opening ceremony and the Forum will be held in Fu peng Sheraton Hotel in Da Ning of Shanghai. From October 23 rd to Oct 24th, there¡¯s software Trade Fair in the Pudong Software Park.
