Hefei government encourages 14 modern service areas including finance, headquarters' economy, intermediary service, logistics, business service, exhibition, hotel, tourism, education, health, social endowment service, service outsourcing, entertainment and sports, animation and so on. In addition, Hefei will also set up "Hefei Modern Service Industry Development Guiding Funds". All the modern service businesses which register and pay taxes in Hefei, no matter the ownership or affiliation, can get the capital support.
It is said that to those projects which accord with the current year's modern service development guiding directory can implement green channel of approval. The encouraging solutions' forms include financial incentives, subsidies grants, fees relief, resource price concessions, and so on. For example, in animation industry: to those newly established animation businesses, the city will leave some of the contributed value-added tax and business income tax, and give 100% incentives in three years.
