It is expected that within the next five years, China plans to scale the software outsourcing industry of 2.6 billion US dollars to six times in order to be as the same scale of India, the prospect of service outsourcing industry is broad.
At present, there are more than 500 different kinds of service outsourcing enterprises, the employees are more than 50,000. Beside Suzhou Industrial Park has been identified as the only Chinese service outsourcing model base, Suzhou, Kunshan and Taicang have also been identified as the provincial-level international service outsourcing base cities, there are also 6 development zones such as Suzhou High-Tech development zone and Kunshan Huaqiao Economic Development Zone have been identified as the provincial-level development international service outsourcing model zones.
The Mayor of Suzhou, Yan Lizeng, points out that the general concept of Suzhou to develop international service outsourcing industry is focusing on offshore outsourcing, bringing in a number of leading enterprises which can undertake the high-end service outsourcing markets of multinational companies, and fostering a number of local backbone service outsourcing enterprises with independent intellectual property rights and independent brands.
