Guangzhou Development Zone gain great progress in promoting scientific development and constructing Shoushan City! Yesterday, when the Innovative Plaza, Creativity Plaza and the Central Business District in the center of the Guangzhou Science City was completed and launched into use. The first 30 high-tech and modern service projects involved in electronic information, software services outsourcing, financial services, logistics, biomedicine, environmental protection, new materials, industrial design, animation and other fields entered into the zone. And so far, there are already 91 companies having agreed to settle down. At the same day, the eight state-level industrial base parks including the biological, information, services outsourcing parks were unveiled, meanwhile, the only one harmonious labor relations industrial park of state-level development zones is also opened.
Among the eight state-level industrial base parks opened yesterday, there include Guangzhou Biology Industry Base in Guangzhou Science City Park which represents the important high-tech areas, Guangzhou Information Industry High-tech industry Base in Guangzhou Science City Park, Guangzhou Materials Industrial Base of the State Torch Program in the new high-tech zones; China services outsourcing base cities on behalf of the high-end modern service industry in Guangzhou as a model zone, national online games animation industry base, the recycled experimental enterprises of state-level presenting the harmonious development of the national park, the national model of industrial park with harmonious labor relations; as well as the key enterprises for investment of the State Council¡¯s attracting overseas Chinese Office which also provide financial and intellectual support for the park.
It was informed that the Guangzhou Development Zone will make use of the hilly areas of the Jiulong Zhen, build a new science and technology park with more scientific planning, more beautiful environment, higher industries, better infrastructure and more focused research and development. The project first started by planning a building of 20 square kilometers, and constructing an upgraded science city, while a greater and wider planning and construction will underway, in order to strive to build a ¡°Science City Extending hundreds of miles¡± of Guangzhou.
